Danish shoe brand ECCO has appointed Access Communications as its public relations agency for Singapore and Malaysia. The partnership aims to bolster ECCO’s media relations, influencer partnerships, and event activations within these key regions.
According to ECCO, the engagement with Access Communications will enhance the visibility of its latest collections, exclusive events, and campaigns in Singapore and Malaysia, highlighting its focus on comfort and style. Working with lifestyle brands is not new to Access Communications. The agency has worked with prominent clients such as Gentle Monster, Kylie Cosmetics, The North Face, Seiko and many others.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Access Communications for additional information about the appointment.

ECCO’s global footprint extends to 87 countries, with a presence in over 2,000 ECCO shops and more than 14,000 sales points worldwide. The family-owned brand also employs more than 22,000 people across their storefronts.
In September this year, the lifestyle brand prompted Singaporeans to ditch what they know and step into comfort and style by unveiling the country's largest 3D shoe installation at Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. The 3D shoe installation took the form of the brand's GRUUV shoe, with the tagline “Made for Walking”. The display measured close to two metres high and aimed to invite consumers to take the step and explore the brand's new GRUUV collection for men and women.
The idea came about as a bold and cheeky play on the tagline and to showcase the dynamic walking motion of the shoe with its unique two-way flex rubber sole, said Benjamin Chin, managing director of ECCO Singapore and Malaysia when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out.
